The funeral service will be held Thursday, July 13, at 11 a.m. He is survived by his wife of 68 years Audra Stansell Smith daughters and son-in-law, Sandy and Dean Cochran of Dalton, Jennifer Jones of Dalton sister-in-law, Pat Smith of Rocky Face grandchildren, Emily (Kevin) Blevins, Sarah (Jesse) Cucksee, and Abbey Jones great-grandchildren, Josie Blevins, Audra Blevins, Jackson Cucksee, and Andrew Cucksee many nieces and nephews also survive. Army, and retired after a lengthy career at Brown Industries. James was a long-time member of Trinity United Methodist Church, a veteran of the U.S. and Doris Smith and Leonard Smith sisters and brothers-in-law, Pearl and Frank Planzer, Tennie Mae and Herschel Morgan, and Louise and John Hooker and son-in-law Brad Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents, Asburry and Dasie Smith brothers and sisters-in-law, Oscar and Evoline Smith, Henry and Pearl Smith, John and Ollie Mae Smith, A.N.
James Lincoln Smith, age 92, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Monday, Jat Hamilton Medical Center.
